Northwich 1943 – 1967 Film Show

The Townscape Heritage Project for Northwich is hosting this special Film Show event in the Museum’s ‘Regalette’ Cinema to coincide with Heritage Open Days 2017.

The films were discovered at the North West Film Archive and Lead Artist Katayoun Dowlatshahi in conjunction with Brett Langston, Archivist at the Chester Records office, have edited these silent films with a commissioned narrative. The footage includes early carnival scenes, street scenes, images of the 1960s town redevelopment and the royal visit of the Duchess of Kent, the grand-daughter of Sir John Brunner Mond.

Times: 3pm and 7pm

Museum café will be open before each film show.
